ACE AND AYA KID MEME ACE AND AYA KID MEME
- Name: Portgas D. Roux
- Gender: Male
- General appearance: Basically a carbon copy of Ace when he was a boy but with his mother’s tan and bubblegum hair. Though there is some of that merfolk DNA in him, it is too little for it to show in his appearance. A beautiful freckled- coal-eyed creature.
- Personality: Roux’s a bit of a trouble-maker as a kid, though he can’t sass his mother - and truth be said, he’d get smacked by his father if he did! Roux eventually calms down a bit and becomes a good student thanks to his mother (and again thanks to his father’s threatening fist of love).
- Special talents: Like his mother, and thanks to their heritage, Roux is a very good swimmer and can sustain his breath longer than normal humans - which is more than can be said of his definitely not normal human dad in that department!
- Who they like better: Don’t ask him that! It’s actually Roux’s most hated question of all time!
- Who they take after more: He ‘transitions’ from being a lot like his father to being more like his mother. Roux’s a big fan of books and libraries but, unlike his mother who stays more in the world of fiction, is not afraid to live some adventures of his own.
- Personal headcanon: The name ‘Roux’ was entirely Aya’s choice, as she wanted to pay tribute to Ace’s mother.

- Gender: Female
- General appearance: Sol shares her mother’s skin tone and golden eyes, which are in the origin of her name but her hair is black like her father’s and slightly wavy too and, as teen, she likes to have it extra curly.
- Personality: Sol loves school and, in time, learns to appreciate having an opportunity her father did not have. She’s a very good student, Mathematics being her favourite subject. She’s also very responsible and fond of musical theatre after listening to her dad sing so many Disney songs growing up!
- Special talents: Sol can count by prime numbers, woah!
- Who they like better: She can’t pick one. Her parents are so relaxed and fun to be with it and they had a great impact on her. They’re also very proud of who she is and give her support and freedom - which is more than can be said of her friends’ parents.
- Who they take after more: Maybe she’s a bit more like her mother, her attitude being quiet and casual - which is not to say Sol can’t be a bit goofy sometimes, just like mummy!
- Personal headcanon: Sol is always after her namesake - to her, a day without sun is a bad one.

- Name: Portgas D. Crimson
- Gender: Male
- General appearance: Athletic, though not as beefy as his father. His hair is not crimson in tone but still a shade of red, as Ace carries his mother’s redhead gene. During those teenage years, he does a bit of experimentation with his shoulder-length hair by fashioning it in a mohawk or shaving one side of his head and leaving the other long.
- Personality: This kid is a mess. No, seriously. He is constantly serving detention or being punished and it’s known he’ll just serve in jail when he’s old enough. Crimson is the fire-child fusion between Ace and Raven, with his father’s temper and his mother’s manner of speech. He’s not a bad kid, though, he genuinely has trouble distinguishing between right and wrong in most things and can be a bit of an ass without wishing to.
- Special talents: Trouble and pyrotechnics. Put both things together and you get yourself a kid who can fashion explosives out of unsuspecting household items.
- Who they like better: Crimson has a slight preference for his mother, as he takes after her more than his dad. Like Raven, he also acts unamused by Ace’s goofy behaviour, though he secretly appreciates it, leaving Ace to wonder where he went wrong when his kid used to love his antics as little boy, whereas he’s indifferent to them as a teen.
- Who they take after more: Raven. He shares his mother’s speech and vocab but he’s a good combo of his parents when it comes to partying!
- Personal headcanon: His name is Crimson because that was the exact shade of hair he was born with, before it got lighter.
